The Sunday market is located in the center of the city of Agadir, and is the largest urban market in Morocco and Africa, and receives many Moroccan and foreign tourists. This market, which extends over a covered area of about 9 hectares, includes a total of 2,000 shops and about 1,200 squares reserved for commercial activities within the framework of the temporary use of the public domain, while the number of visitors ranges between 30,000 and 40,000 visitors during normal days, knowing that this number reaches 80,000 visitors during weekends and religious holidays.
